The sleeping bag you bring must fit you well; otherwise, you will not be able to sleep well. Don’t buy one that’s too long or too short for your height. If you are bringing a goose down bag, keep it dry at all times. Unlike synthetic bags, a goose down bag does not dry up easily and can lose its insulating ability when damp. Store it in a waterproof stuff sack to keep it from getting wet.
